The company is seeking a Field Application Specialist & Field Service Engineer based in the greater Boston Area to support its rapidly growing global applications team. The Field Application Specialist & Field Service Engineer will be responsible for the entire customer success continuum, which includes installation, training, applications development, and service support. The successful candidate will understand customer application requirements and translate them into high-quality pre-sales support, as well as conduct installation and training sessions to facilitate customer onboarding. Additionally, the role involves developing applications with customers to ensure their success in target markets such as genomics and drug discovery. The candidate will document and manage applications and service caseloads using the Salesforce platform, including site visits, installation, and application reports. Technical service, maintenance, and repairs of liquid handling equipment will also be part of the responsibilities. The position requires close collaboration with key stakeholders within the company to drive customer satisfaction, communicate challenges, and share customer success stories. The Field Application Specialist will be responsible for specific customer accounts and is expected to work autonomously while being part of a growing team focused on the US market. This role will involve 60-80% travel within the Eastern part of the US, making it essential for the candidate to be adaptable and ready to engage with clients directly.
