About the position

The Field Application Specialist at Cytiva plays a crucial role in supporting the commercial team and customers by delivering therapeutic solutions. This position focuses on cell therapy within the Genomic Medicine organization and involves organizing product demonstrations, providing technical support, and developing long-term customer relationships. The role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while contributing to life-changing therapeutics.

Responsibilities

• Organize and deliver product demonstrations, training, site visits, and follow-ups for customers in the USCAN region.
• Provide pre and post sales technical support to customers and sales teams on products, reagents, and cell therapy workflows.
• Develop good long-term customer relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction while utilizing company resources effectively.
• Troubleshoot customer technical issues and identify continuous improvement opportunities in their manufacturing processes.
• Collect customer and market feedback from the field and communicate it to internal teams and relevant departments.

Requirements

• Degree in Cell Biology, Engineering, or other Life Sciences discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of experience within the cell therapy industry.
• 2 to 5 years of experience working in a cell therapy process development lab/GMP facility.
• 1 year of demonstrated knowledge and skill in customer service.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in cell processing techniques.
• Previous knowledge or use of Cytiva Cell Therapy Equipment.
• Demonstrates a high standard of written/verbal communication and critical thinking.
