About the position

The Field Applications Engineer at Amphenol will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise and solutions related to high-speed electrical connectors. This position involves interfacing with customers, internal teams, and participating in product presentations, all aimed at ensuring customer success and fostering strong relationships with key clients, particularly Dell Technologies.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customers and internal teams to solve complex interconnect problems.
• Lead technical aspects of the sales cycle as an engineering resource on the sales team.
• Provide technical marketing support for the development and implementation of Amphenol products.
• Prepare materials and participate in product presentations.
• Provide drawings and models in response to customer requests.
• Deliver high-level customer service to address technical inquiries.
• Devise strategies to differentiate Amphenol products from competitors.
• Meet and exceed strategic objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience providing product marketing and sales technical support to achieve design wins.
• Experience with modeling tools and Microsoft Office Products.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Pro E or SolidWorks modeling tools.
