About the position

KLA is seeking a highly motivated individual to provide technical applications support for the development and implementation of KLA's reticle and photomask inspection systems. This role is crucial in ensuring that our advanced technologies meet the needs of our customers in the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including acceptance testing, customer training, recipe setup, project execution, and alpha/beta testing. Additionally, the role involves pre-sales activities, where the candidate will assist Marketing and Account Sales in assessing the potential applications of our products to meet customer needs. The position requires a proactive approach to follow-up support, disseminating technical information on specific applications, and reporting regional requirements and updates to the product division. The candidate will also be expected to escalate field application issues to the division and follow up for issue resolution. This role involves working on complex problems where in-depth evaluation of various factors is necessary. The candidate will collaborate with customers and divisions to maximize the benefits of reticle inspectors, generating Best Known Methods (BKM), project summary reports, customer use case summaries, and product value pitch information. Presentations on all aspects of the products will also be a key responsibility. Travel, both domestic and international, may be required based on assignment, making flexibility and adaptability essential traits for this position. Responsibilities

  • Provides technical applications support for the development and implementation of KLA reticle and photomask inspection systems.
  • Responsible for acceptance test, customer training, recipe setup, project execution, alpha/beta testing and related pre-sales activities.
  • Assists Marketing and Account Sales in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs.
  • Provides follow-up support in disseminating technical information on specific applications.
  • Reports regional requirements and updates to product division.
  • Escalates field applications issues to division and follows up for issue fix.
  • Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
  • Works with customers and division to maximize the benefit of reticle inspectors.
  • Generates BKM, project summary report, customer's use cases summary and product value pitch information summary.
  • Makes presentations on all aspects of products.
  • Domestic or international travels based on assignment is required.
