As a Field Applications Engineer at Melexis, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our innovative products and our customers' needs. Your primary responsibility will be to build strong technical expertise on Melexis products and solutions, ensuring that you provide professional technical support to our customers while actively participating in business development initiatives. This position requires a proactive approach to understanding customer applications and translating that knowledge into effective solutions that drive project Design IN and Design WIN. You will work closely with the Melexis Sales Team and various product lines to create both technical and business value. This involves providing professional technical support in the field, where you will leverage your deep understanding of Melexis solutions and products to meet customer design requirements and resolve technical issues. Collaboration with Product Lines is essential, as you will need to create and provide the best-fitting Melexis products and solutions based on a thorough understanding of customer systems. In addition to direct customer support, you will be responsible for collecting information on technical trends, identifying new product needs, and addressing common problems in the market. This feedback will be vital for shaping the product roadmap and ensuring that our offerings remain competitive and relevant. You will also provide technical training and support to distributors, particularly focusing on distributor Field Application Engineers (FAEs), and follow up on key ongoing projects. Your role will extend to actively supporting technical exhibitions and public and online seminars, where you will share your expertise on system applications and market trends.
