About the position

The position involves providing technical applications support for KLA products in customer fabrication facilities, focusing on maintaining strategic client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role requires collaboration with sales teams to identify and close sales opportunities while delivering critical solutions to improve yield performance in semiconductor manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical applications support for KLA products in customer fabrication facilities.
  • Make presentations on all aspects of products.
  • Assist sales staff in assessing potential applications of company products to meet customer technical requirements and prepare detailed product specifications.
  • Implement customer installation plans.
  • Provide follow-up support in training customers and disseminating technical information on specific applications.
  • Work on complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation and communication between customers and specialists.
  • Exercise judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining results.

Requirements

  • MS/Ph.D. preferred in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Optics, Material Science or a related field.
  • Experience in the semiconductor fabrication industry or equivalent experience and education.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance technical skills with people skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, JMP or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with semiconductor device application and characterization.
  • Knowledge of photolithography and overlay (IBO, DBO, SEM-OVL).
  • Familiarity with cleanroom protocols.
