About the position

The Applications Engineering role at ASML is pivotal in enabling business development and driving customer adoption of sustainable solutions. This position involves leading technical escalations related to system performance and acting as a tech lead to ensure timely containment and resolution of issues. The role is particularly focused on providing class-leading customer support for advanced EUV nodes, including DUV and YS, in the high-volume manufacturing (HVM) sector within the US region. Given the scope and impact of this role, it presents significant opportunities for growth in technical expertise, project management, or leadership roles. In this dynamic environment, the Applications Engineer will play a crucial role in the new site production ramp and the transfer of technology from Taiwan to Arizona. Responsibilities include participating in or leading projects that support customer transitions to new technology nodes or ramping up specific technology nodes. The engineer will own workstreams within larger projects, developing and driving project plans autonomously while ensuring successful execution and regular updates to stakeholders. The role also involves defining and conducting on-product experiments alongside customers to ensure efficiency and accuracy, as well as performing data analysis to draw correct conclusions from experimental data. The engineer will translate customer issues into potential lithography or metrology-related problems, resolving these to maximize the performance of ASML products. Regular meetings with internal and external stakeholders will be necessary to maintain commitment and keep all parties informed of progress. Additionally, the engineer will prepare technical presentations for customer meetings, provide support for new users, and assist the sales team.
