About the position

The Field Applications Engineering Manager at Entegris is responsible for leading a team that promotes and applies existing products within a dynamic industry. This role requires a deep understanding of the company's products, the industries served, and customer needs, facilitating communication between customers and various internal departments. The manager will coordinate technical support, generate technical documentation, and drive strategies to capture and maintain business in targeted markets.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate field technical support for application-related problems of Entegris products.
  • Generate and/or present various technical documentation related to a product or application for sales or strategic opportunities.
  • Communicate and collaborate closely with Sales management and team members.
  • Drive a team to support Account Management in executing BU product strategy in the field.
  • Participate in regular meetings with customers and internal teams to share feedback and enhance communication for product evaluations and application issues.
  • Maintain a high level of application understanding to provide recommendations on product issues and trends.
  • Drive programs that develop team technical acumen and confidence with customers and Entegris employees.
  • Escalate and provide problem-solving support for the teams.
  • Own special projects in support of BU/Engineering activities.
  • Develop team members through coaching, mentoring, and regular feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a multidisciplinary customer-facing role.
  • Basic mechanical drafting experience and CAD (Solid Works) capability is a plus.
  • Ability to travel and work independently in various settings.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
