About the position

As a Field Auto Damage Adjuster at Allstate, you will be integral to the auto claims handling process, conducting assessments and writing estimates at various locations such as customer homes and repair shops. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers and vendors effectively. You will be responsible for investigating claims, negotiating settlements, and maintaining accurate documentation, all while providing excellent customer service in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Write estimates directly at customer homes, repair shops, or tow yards.
• Conduct face-to-face, virtual, and written communication with customers and shops.
• Investigate casualty claims by performing detailed reviews of damage and interpreting policies.
• Evaluate and negotiate claims settlements with customers, vendors, and third-party carriers.
• Utilize multiple tools for claims processing and maintain accurate documentation in the claims system.

Requirements

• 18 months+ experience in auto collision estimating using CCC or Mitchell.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to write precise estimates.
• Comfortable with utilizing technology for claims processing.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Nice-to-haves

• Active appraiser or adjuster license in TX, FL, or resident state for sign-on bonus eligibility.
