About the position

The Field Devices Sales Operations Manager at Schneider Electric is responsible for managing business operations that support the Commercial Strategy to enhance sales of the Process Automation Instrumentation portfolio in North America. This role focuses on ensuring customer satisfaction while leading the Sales Support Team, collaborating with various departments, and driving improvements in business processes to support the sales force effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage business operations to support the Commercial Strategy for sales growth.
  • Lead the Sales Support Team for NAM Instrumentation, including Technical Sales, Data/Analytics, Customer Support, and Order Management.
  • Work with the National Customer Service Sales Manager to develop key business processes and tools for the Instrumentation Business.
  • Drive improvements in business processes to support the North American sales force.
  • Serve as a liaison between the field sales team and other departments within Schneider Electric.
  • Assist the sales team in tracking and managing opportunities through BFO.
  • Coordinate sales training and organize sales meetings and partner factory training.
  • Support marketing initiatives and channel events.
  • Collaborate with other business units to enhance sales operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or Economics.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or sales management.
  • Experience in day-to-day customer and channel partner sales support.
  • Ability to manage workload and travel requirements effectively.
  • Experience in sales management, reporting, and forecasting tools.
  • Strong skills in procedural improvement and training.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certified Quality Auditor
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and SAP for sales reporting.
  • Familiarity with lead generation and marketing strategies.
