About the position

The Field Enablement Process Specialist role at Merck is a key position within the Strategy & Field Enablement (STREAM) Team, focusing on optimizing the customer-facing organization across the US Market. This role involves providing project management and process improvement support to enhance field operations, ensuring readiness for product launches and restructuring initiatives. The specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders to facilitate seamless operations and develop sustainable business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects related to field enablement, including restructuring initiatives and product launches.
  • Identify opportunities for streamlining and improving existing processes related to field enablement.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure the field sales force is prepared for new product launches and changes in business priorities.
  • Map dependencies across different field readiness workstreams that impact sales force enablement processes.
  • Support the governance of process documentation across field enablement workstreams.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights and enhance business performance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma with at least 4 years of relevant work experience in the Pharmaceutical/Healthcare field.
  • Experience in HQ commercial operations strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple workstreams with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Process-minded with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work product.
  • Experience in project management and process mapping.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Independent thinker and self-starter with an agile and growth mindset.
  • Ability to influence without authority and navigate complex organizations.
  • Strong business acumen and proven strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in vendor management and stakeholder engagement.
