About the position
As a Field Engineer at Lockheed Martin, you will support the Depot and field maintenance for the re-entry system/re-entry vehicles associated with the Minuteman III missile. This role involves providing technical assistance, flight test support, and supply chain support to the Integrated Program Teams at Hill AFB. You will be responsible for engineering and technical support concerning the inspection, assessments, maintenance, and repair activities for RSRV assets and support equipment.
Responsibilities
- Represent the Lockheed Martin Strategic Reentry organization as the local on-site representative to the customer's organization.
- Provide real-time technical assistance and flight test support.
- Support Technical Order and supply chain activities for the MMIII Reentry System.
- Supply engineering and technical support for inspection, assessments, maintenance, and repair activities for RSRV assets.
Requirements
- 12+ years of professional experience in a relevant field.
- Active DoD Secret clearance and US Citizenship required.
- Experience with Technical Order and supply chain support in the US Air Force.
- Familiarity with MMIII Reentry System and ICBM Flight Test hardware/processes.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of Munitions/Ordnance handling and tracking programs.
- Awareness of HAZMAT shipping constraints.
- Understanding of MS Office & MS Teams.
