About the position

Design a career and build your future... Because it matters! We are currently seeking long-term Construction Field Engineers for projects in the South West Central and Pacific Northwest regions. Our Construction Engineers provide project planning, scheduling, procurement, and related technical and administrative support to lead individuals on the project. This position works closely with the project manager, superintendent, foremen, and crews to support the overall needs of the project. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include performing scheduling of the project, managing revenue, cost, and cash flow, contracting, managing, and coordinating sub-contractors and product vendors. The role also involves participating in the preparation and implementation of permanent design management and quality control, overseeing project closeout, and maintaining close contact and good working relationships with client representatives. Additionally, the Field Engineer assists in Operations planning, administers contracts and subcontracts, trains and directs Field Engineers, and develops and maintains owner relations. Qualifications for this position include the ability to read, analyze, and identify discrepancies on engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents. An excellent understanding of pre-construction and construction processes is essential. The candidate must work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation, respectfully take direction, and adhere to feedback from site superintendent and project managers. Strong computer skills with MS Office are required, and familiarity with Primavera, Heavy Job/Heavy Bid is a plus. Working experience managing engineers is also necessary, and the candidate must be able to travel and relocate to projects in the Pacific Northwest and Southwest Central regions. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is highly desired, along with 0-3 years of working experience in construction or engineering.
