The Field Engineer II will have completed at least two years in the heavy civil construction industry and will be familiar with various construction disciplines, including Safety, Estimating, Project Management, and Operations. This position is designed for individuals who are ready to take on responsibilities and make decisions independently. While the Field Engineer will not be required to perform manual labor, they will actively manage those who do, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and safely. Responsibilities

  • Actively manage and oversee construction activities on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate with project management and operations teams to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Assist in estimating project costs and resource requirements.
  • Support the implementation of project management best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Construction or Engineering preferred, but experience may be considered in lieu of same.
  • 2+ years of experience in the heavy civil construction industry.
  • Familiarity with construction disciplines such as Safety, Estimating, Project Management, and Operations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with project management software and tools.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
