The Field Engineer II role is crucial in overseeing and executing project controls and management for specific disciplines within the CE&I group. This position involves direct support to Craft Superintendents, managing quantity collection, scheduling, contract administration, project planning, procurement, and project reporting. The Field Engineer II will interface with various stakeholders, including clients, engineering/design teams, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring effective communication regarding project status and requirements. The role requires a strong understanding of financial principles to quantify costs and benefits, track budgets, and provide clients with necessary reports. Safety is a top priority, and the Field Engineer II must adhere to corporate and site-specific safety plans while actively participating in safety meetings and training. Responsibilities also include performing quantity calculations, preparing work plans, supervising field operations, and maintaining project recordkeeping. The position demands a high level of motivation, a commitment to ethics and integrity, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and objectives. Extensive travel and relocation for project assignments are expected, typically lasting 6-12 months.
