The Field Engineer position in Grand Junction, CO, serves as a crucial link between office engineers and field teams, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and according to engineering specifications. This role involves daily fieldwork, supporting the team, and managing documentation to facilitate project success.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that work by the team and subcontractors meets engineering specifications.
• Handle important documents and ensure correct materials are received and stored.
• Perform surveying and layout of job sites using Total Station, GPS, and MicroStation.
• Process and review shop drawings.
• Update as-built documents.
• Audit completed construction work.
• Complete daily and periodic report updates.
• Coordinate subcontractor work.

Requirements

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a related role.
• Willingness to travel and work the required days and hours.
