About the position

The Field Engineer / Project Engineer position is focused on supporting the Project Management team in overseeing construction projects, managing risks, and maintaining client relations. The role involves ensuring project documentation is accurate and up-to-date, promoting safety on-site, and collaborating with various team members to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Management team in project oversight, managing risk and client relations
• Responsible for construction documentation including change orders, RFIs, and submittals
• Work collaboratively with Superintendent and other project team members
• Perform site safety walks, promoting safe work practices
• Update project management software and scheduling software

Requirements

• Experience in heavy highway or marine construction
• Strong understanding of construction documentation processes
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Knowledge of project management and scheduling software

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with large-scale construction projects
• Familiarity with safety regulations and practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
