CS Energy is seeking Field Engineers to support renewable energy projects across the United States, primarily focusing on the East Coast. The Field Engineer will collaborate closely with Project Operations and Field Management teams to build strong client relationships, work effectively with colleagues, and ensure the construction of safe, high-quality, and profitable projects that adhere to scheduled timelines. This role is crucial in assisting the Assistant Project Manager and Superintendent with various tasks, including managing shop drawings, submittals, scheduling subcontractors and materials, conducting meetings, preparing as-built drawings, overseeing job costs, procurement, and performing quality checks, including torque checks, as part of field operations. The Field Engineer will be assigned to projects nationwide, with a primary focus on the Northeast and Southeast regions, and must be willing to work 100% onsite at construction sites. This position requires travel and may involve temporary relocation near project sites. As an entry-level role, it serves as a stepping stone for individuals aspiring to advance into Project Management, Estimating, and Construction Management roles. The Field Engineer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies, performing inspections, managing field operations, and maintaining documentation related to project submittals and material certifications. Additionally, the role involves assisting with daily finance functions, supply chain processes, and maintaining project trackers and reports. The position is field-based, requiring the individual to work in various weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors, while adhering to safety protocols and using personal protective equipment as necessary. Candidates must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment drug test and comply with CS Energy's hiring requirements, including background checks.
