About the position

The Field Engineer position at Insight Global involves supporting a large digital enablement solutions provider in Dallas, Texas. The role requires overseeing the commissioning lifecycle of projects, testing code, and training customers on audio, visual, control, and networking systems in conference rooms. The engineer will manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously, ensuring proper calibration of audio and video systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight of the commissioning lifecycle for AV projects.
• Test code written by programmers for AV systems.
• Train customers on audio, visual, control, and networking systems.
• Manage job sites for AV projects, ensuring timely and quality execution.
• Calibrate audio and video systems for conference rooms.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in the AV industry, specifically in the field.
• 3 years of experience loading code into an AV touch panel.
• 3 years of experience in audio, video, and control calibration.
• 3 years of experience performing job site management for AV projects.
• Proficient knowledge of Crestron, QSC, Amex, and Extron.
