About the position

The Field Event Marketing Manager is responsible for managing and executing field event marketing initiatives aimed at generating leads and exceeding sales targets. This role involves overseeing a team, participating in various events, and developing partnerships to enhance lead generation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute field event marketing initiatives to exceed booked, issued, and sales targets.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop the event marketing team with actionable accountability in established goals.
• Execute and manage onsite lead generation activities weekly during event participation.
• Attend home shows, fairs, festivals, and other events to educate customers and schedule appointments.
• Develop localized retail partnerships for onsite staffed displays to generate leads and sales activity.
• Optimize and leverage community entities to create and implement event-related sponsorship programs with onsite exhibitor presence.
• Manage event tools, resources, and materials for coordination, setup, teardown, and inventory.
• Meet and exceed lead/sales quotas by executing field event coordination and managing the team.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Experience and proven success in lead generation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to manage and develop others in fast-paced environments
• Ability to handle multiple priorities at one time
• Valid Driver's license with reliable transportation for marketing materials and display transport
• Ability to lift/move/carry up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds frequently.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in lead generation for the residential home improvement industry
• Leadership or supervisory experience in event marketing, retail, or restaurant.
