About the position

The Field Event Marketing Manager is responsible for managing and executing field event marketing initiatives aimed at generating leads and exceeding sales targets. This role involves overseeing a team, participating in various events, and developing partnerships to enhance lead generation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute field event marketing initiatives to exceed booked, issued, and sales targets.
• Hire, train, and develop the event marketing team with actionable accountability in established goals.
• Execute and manage onsite lead generation activities weekly during event participation.
• Attend trade shows, fairs, festivals, and other events to educate customers and schedule appointments.
• Develop localized retail partnerships for onsite staffed displays to enhance lead generation and sales activity.
• Optimize community partnerships to create and implement event-related sponsorship programs with onsite exhibitor presence.
• Manage event tools, resources, and materials for event coordination, setup, teardown, and inventory.
• Meet and exceed lead/sales quotas by executing field event coordination and managing the team.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience and proven success in lead generation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage and develop others in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities at one time.
• Valid Driver's license with reliable transportation to transport marketing materials and displays to/from scheduled events.
• Ability to lift/move/carry up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 25 pounds frequently.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in lead generation for the retail home improvement industry.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in event marketing, retail, or restaurant.

Benefits

• Base salary of $50,000 per year plus bonuses.
