About the position

The Field Event Marketing Manager is responsible for managing and executing field event marketing initiatives aimed at generating leads and exceeding sales targets. This role involves participation in various events, developing partnerships, and overseeing a team to ensure successful lead generation activities.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and develop the event marketing team with actionable accountability in established goals.
• Execute and manage onsite lead generation activities weekly in event participation.
• Attend home shows, fairs, festivals, and events to educate customers and schedule appointments.
• Develop localized retail partnerships for onsite staffed displays to enhance lead generation and sales activity.
• Optimize and leverage potential localized community entities to create and implement event-related sponsorship programs with onsite exhibitor presence.
• Manage event tools, resources, and materials for event coordination, setup, teardown, and inventory.
• Meet and exceed lead/sales quotas by executing field event coordination and managing the team.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Experience and proven success in lead generation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to manage and develop others in fast-paced environments
• Ability to handle multiple priorities at one time
• Valid Driver's license with reliable transportation to transport marketing materials and displays to/from scheduled events
• Ability to lift/move/carry up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 25 pounds frequently.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in lead generation for the residential home improvement industry
• Leadership or supervisory experience in event marketing, retail, or restaurant.
