About the position
The Field Facing Analysis - Supervisor is responsible for designing and enhancing processes related to planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis within the organization. This role operates in a matrix structure, collaborating with various departments to improve financial management and decision-making. The Supervisor will work closely with FP&A, accounting, IT, and business development teams to support the business and drive data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the 2025 Budget and develop budgeting process improvements.
- Assist in developing new forecasting processes, including a monthly material item update and a quarterly detailed estimate process.
- Create comprehensive financial reports for operational leadership to ensure consistency in data interpretation.
- Educate field teams on the future state of the finance organization and new budgeting processes.
- Examine the current reporting landscape to identify inaccuracies and partner with relevant teams to improve reporting.
- Ensure accurate cost/revenue coding in collaboration with accounting and map GL accounts to expense categories.
- Create financial presentations and narratives to communicate performance drivers across the business.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of professional experience in finance roles, including FP&A and/or Accounting.
- General understanding of accounting principles.
- Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- MBA or CPA is a plus.
- Industry experience in vegetation management or utility infrastructure services is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence at all levels.
- Strong knowledge of finance processes, systems, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Prior work experience in detailed budgeting is a plus.
