About The Position
The position involves performing a comprehensive range of geophysical technologies in support of geologic, groundwater, environmental, engineering, and materials testing investigations. The role includes conducting non-invasive geophysical surveys from the ground surface as well as geophysical logging in boreholes to provide images or models of subsurface conditions. Responsibilities include defining survey objectives, designing survey approaches, analyzing resulting geophysical data, and providing interpretation of results. The results are incorporated into the planning, design, and construction of vital infrastructure such as roads, tunnels, airports, landfills, water supplies, and other facilities; the assessment of environmental conditions; and the evaluation of earth resources. Geophysics supports all of Terracon's service lines.
