About the position

The Field Implementation Coach (FIC) at State Farm is responsible for enhancing the adoption of marketing and technology processes among independent contract agents. This role involves direct engagement with agents to influence their capabilities and drive behavioral changes that align with business priorities. The FIC will work remotely, requiring residence within the Spartanburg Sales Territory, and will engage in both face-to-face and virtual interactions to support agents in achieving their objectives and improving customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Assist independent contract State Farm agents in adopting marketing and technology processes.
  • Engage in ongoing face-to-face interactions with agents and team members to influence adoption of capabilities.
  • Support agent interactions through computer/video and phone channels.
  • Work with Sales Leaders and Market Area Executive Leadership to provide integrated technology consulting for agents.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to evolving processes and technologies while maintaining technical expertise.
  • Drive adoption of enterprise initiatives and market area priorities in partnership with field leaders.

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher-level education is desired.
  • Understanding of the insurance industry and competitive environment.

  • Ability to learn web and non-web programs to drive adoption of new systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, OneNote, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong relationship building skills and initiative to work collaboratively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Agency experience is preferred but not required.
  • Technical expertise regarding technology platforms such as ECRM (Salesforce), Agency Business System (ABS), and others.
