About the position
The Field Installer position at Custom Home Accessories involves a combination of field and warehouse work, primarily focused on concrete form and finish tasks. The role requires building concrete forms, pouring cement pads, and installing mailboxes at construction sites. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, particularly with concrete finishing, and will be responsible for maintaining a clean driving record while performing tasks at various job sites within a two-hour range from the company's location.
Responsibilities
- Use hand and power tools for various tasks.
- Construct forms, pour, edge, and smooth cement pads.
- Lift up to 60 pounds alone and up to 120 pounds with assistance.
- Maintain a clean driving record.
- Drive to work-site locations to perform concrete work, sometimes with a trailer or concrete buggy.
- Install mailboxes on construction sites for new or rehab communities.
- Perform general warehouse support when field work is not required.
Requirements
- Experience in construction, particularly with finish concrete work.
- Ability to utilize tools such as trowels, screeds, and floats to finish concrete.
- Ability to drive a manual transmission.
- Experience in driving with a trailer or concrete buggy.
- Experience with hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift heavy objects as specified.
- Ability to stand and walk for a full 8-10-hour day.
