About the position
The position involves selling ACG branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products within an ACG branch location. The role focuses on generating new business sales, growing ACG's insurance book, and providing excellent customer service. The employee will be responsible for meeting sales targets, conducting insurance reviews, and participating in local branch events to expand business networks.
Responsibilities
- Sell ACG branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products.
- Identify customer-specific needs to generate new business sales.
- Support escalated service and retention of existing insureds.
- Overcome objections to close sales and retain insureds.
- Meet or exceed individual established sales targets annually.
- Conduct insurance reviews for clients to identify suitable products.
- Use underwriting guidelines to assess risk and recommend products.
- Participate in local branch events to solicit new business and expand networks.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding membership and financial products.
- Refer members to other applicable lines of business.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license.
- Current Life Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 90 days of hire.
- 1+ year(s) of customer-facing experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sales skills and consultative selling techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of desktop systems including CRM and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent listening skills and ability to understand customer needs.
Nice-to-haves
- Two years of professional sales experience in an insurance environment or related industry.
- College level coursework preferred.
