About the position

The Field Logistics Operations Specialist at Meta is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of Data Center support and operations. This role involves collaborating with logistics site leadership to ensure efficient execution of operational processes across regional Data Centers. The specialist will leverage their expertise in logistics and data analytics to identify and address complex operational challenges, drive improvements, and support compliance and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a point of contact and technical expert in the lifecycle of Data Center operations.
  • Holistically assess and improve internal logistics systems and tools.
  • Utilize data analytics to drive improvements and monitor success across the region.
  • Integrate cross-functional team tools and contribute to a holistic operational roadmap.
  • Lead technical discussions and serve as a subject matter expert with strategic influence.
  • Support the development of aggressive roadmaps to meet team and partner needs.
  • Manage multiple ongoing projects while keeping regional leaders informed.
  • Guide and influence logistics network operations with a global perspective.
  • Collaborate with upstream teams on compliance and policy requirements to minimize risk.
  • Monitor costs related to contracted labor, vehicles, and warehousing operations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Logistics or Supply Chain.
  • Experience with SOX compliance.
  • Proficient in business process mapping, gap analysis, and data analysis.
  • Project management experience including prioritization, planning, and status reporting.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with full life-cycle Data Center operations in a hyper-scale environment.
  • Ability to influence and develop strategy across multiple teams.
  • Familiarity with Oracle/ERP systems, MS Office Suite, WMS, TMS, and supply chain tools.
  • Experience in identifying process gaps and engineering processes across regional campuses.
