About The Position
The Field Marketer for Valley Regional Home Health is responsible for managing all aspects of the organization's marketing and sales efforts. This role involves establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources, responding to customer requests and concerns, and negotiating service contracts with managed care organizations, government agencies, and other payers. The Field Marketer will oversee daily marketing operations, ensuring the implementation of effective marketing and sales initiatives while adhering to all relevant laws and regulations regarding marketing activities and patient solicitation. In this position, the Field Marketer will ensure maximum third-party reimbursement through effective negotiation of service contracts. They will assist the Executive Director/Administrator in establishing volume projections for the annual budget and monitor the allocation of resources according to budgetary limitations. Continuous market assessments will be conducted to develop a comprehensive marketing plan that meets budgetary volume projections. The Field Marketer will also build and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources, enhancing the community's perception of Valley Regional Home Health as a high-quality service provider. Additionally, the Field Marketer will provide leadership in strategic planning, identifying opportunities for additional or improved services to meet customer needs. A comprehensive understanding of the markets, including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources, and competitors, is essential. The role requires monitoring and reporting on the cost-effectiveness of marketing efforts, and may occasionally involve physical activities such as bending, stooping, and reaching.
