About the position

The Field Marketing Director I at Aramark plays a pivotal role in supporting the company's largest and most strategic clients by focusing on product innovation, merchandising, and promotions. This position acts as a crucial liaison between Aramark's Marketing team and the client's account locations, ensuring that both client and consumer needs are met while adhering to Aramark's high standards. The director is responsible for the successful rollout of new products and programs within large national accounts, ensuring that these initiatives not only meet but exceed client expectations. In this role, the Field Marketing Director collaborates closely with the National Accounts team, Marketing, and local Aramark Market Centers to create a seamless experience for consumers at national account locations. A deep understanding of the client's culture is essential, as the director must balance this with Aramark's strategic objectives. The position also involves leading the sourcing and delivery of innovative product and equipment solutions, ensuring that merchandising standards are implemented effectively at client locations. Additionally, the director is tasked with deploying marketing and consumer engagement programs across customer locations, traveling as necessary to ensure that account standards are upheld. The role includes developing and implementing consumer engagement tools, such as crowdsourcing and insight-gathering programs, and managing the marketing aspects of client meetings, including quarterly and annual business reviews. This dynamic position requires adaptability, as job duties may evolve or new responsibilities may be assigned without formal notice.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the roll-out of new products and programs within large, national accounts, ensuring that the products and programs meet client needs and exceed expectations.
  • Works in partnership with the National Accounts team, Marketing, and local Aramark Market Centers to ensure a seamless experience for consumers at national account locations.
  • Immerses in the client's culture while being mindful of Aramark's strategic objectives.
  • Leads the sourcing and delivery of new and innovative product and equipment solutions with the support of leadership.
  • Ensures implementation against merchandising standards established for client locations.
  • Deploys marketing and consumer engagement programs throughout customer locations.
  • Travels across account locations to ensure that account standards are carried out.
  • Develops and deploys consumer engagement tools such as crowdsourcing and insight-gathering programs.
  • Handles the marketing portion of client meetings, including quarterly and annual business reviews.

Requirements

  • Requires at least 3 years of product, marketing, and/or merchandising experience.
  • Requires significant interpersonal and project management experience.
  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business or marketing.
  • Requires experience or a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment within a heavily matrixed organization.
  • Proven strategic, analytical, and decision-making experience.
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Strong communication skills including verbal communication, presentation and influencing, as well as the ability to communicate with all levels in and out of the organization.
