About the position

The Field Marketing Manager for National Accounts and Distribution is a senior role focused on developing, executing, and measuring marketing plans to enhance the sales pipeline for national accounts. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in marketing, particularly in managing relationships with national resellers. The role involves budget management, communication program development, and collaboration with sales and marketing teams to drive results in the sales region.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the overall marketing program strategy and execution framework to meet business goals.
  • Develop integrated demand generation programs in cooperation with the channel and business development team in North America.
  • Lead planning and review process for field and channel marketing programs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with channel and sales leaders to understand market needs.
  • Develop and manage a communication program to expand sales within the partner community.
  • Create marketing materials, tools, and infrastructure to support channel and business development teams.
  • Manage telesales and telemarketing programs as needed.
  • Support local shows and events with necessary materials in collaboration with the sales team and national accounts.
  • Own, manage, and report on MDF spend on a monthly/quarterly basis, ensuring accurate reporting of marketing claims.
  • Select and manage agencies and vendors to support marketing activities.
  • Roll out quarterly sales training programs via webinars, working closely with product and channel management.
  • Assist in writing and editing of Partner News to ensure appropriate content for the regional market.
  • Provide weekly communication to all National partners and Distributors regarding programs, promotions, and changes.
  • Report on regional competitive activity with respect to sales, programs, promotions, and advertising.
  • Monitor pipeline generation closely with Marketing and Sales Operations, ensuring completion of Field Marketing report cards.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5-7 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to travel domestically, approximately 50%.
  • Experience in marketing business-to-business solutions in a technology company.
  • Familiarity with business systems such as Salesforce, Marketo, Eloqua, and MS products.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines under pressure while managing multiple projects and activities.
  • Excellent presentation and writing skills.
