About the position

In this role, you'll lead the field marketing function for Splunk's Federal Civilian customer market, working closely with the sales leadership team to develop and implement marketing strategies. This position requires excellent leadership, creativity, and collaboration skills to enhance Splunk's success in this segment. You will act as a trusted partner to various teams, utilizing digital and in-person marketing strategies to track results and drive demand generation.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and implementing the overall marketing strategy for Splunk's Federal Civilian customer market
  • Creating demand generation programs
  • Implementing deal acceleration strategies
  • Measuring and reporting results
  • Leveraging and enhancing Splunk's brand presence in the market
  • Collaborating and partnering with multiple sales and marketing colleagues
  • Collaborating with partner marketing and integrating partner marketing elements into the Civilian marketing strategy

Requirements

  • 7+ years with demonstrated success creating and implementing marketing growth strategies within the Federal public sector market
  • Strong knowledge of the Federal Civilian public sector customer market
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience delivering presentations to executive staff
  • Experience working within the software technology industry
  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills
  • Bachelor degree in marketing or related field
