About the position

The Field Marketing Manager at Brooklyn Brewery is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness and consumer engagement. This role involves collaboration with sales and marketing teams to implement innovative programs, particularly focusing on the NYC market. The manager will oversee event planning, budget management, and team leadership, ensuring alignment with the brewery's mission and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns to grow brand awareness and drive consumer engagement.
  • Manage the development of on-prem programs and partnerships in the US Annual Business Plan (ABP).
  • Collaborate with trade and brand marketing/design teams to create marketing collateral for on-prem execution.
  • Establish KPIs and program goals for marketing initiatives.
  • Plan and execute industry and trade events with on-brand activations.
  • Manage multi-channel marketing campaigns and monitor performance to achieve KPIs and ROI targets.
  • Stay current on beer, CPG, and lifestyle trends to inform market programming.
  • Lead and manage a team of Event Ambassadors, overseeing their training and growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing and/or sales, preferably in a relevant industry.
  • Experience working with a sales network, supporting national account teams and local sales reps.
  • Strong event management and production experience, both on and off-site.
  • Experience leading a team and guiding professional development.
  • Budget oversight and financial accountability experience.
  • Project management experience, particularly with large, multi-phase projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • On-prem sales or marketing experience.
  • Knowledge of the three-tier system for alcoholic beverages and industry trends.
  • Strong relationships with local businesses and creatives in NYC.
  • Experience with lifestyle or fashion brands.
  • Appreciation of Brooklyn culture, especially surrounding music, food & drink, activism, and art.
