About the position

The Field Marketing Manager at Upside is responsible for driving B2B event-based marketing campaigns aimed at expanding the merchant network. This role involves planning, executing, and analyzing in-person marketing activities, including trade shows, to support enterprise business development initiatives. The manager will collaborate with various teams to ensure successful event execution and alignment with marketing goals.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement successful in-person field marketing activities, including trade shows.
  • Build and implement marketing programs for industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Oversee event scheduling and logistics, including sponsorships, budgeting, and production schedules.
  • Maintain event documents and presentations, including production schedules and promotional materials.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with internal collaborators to enhance marketing promotion and sales engagements.
  • Build relationships with vendors and associations to drive market penetration and brand positioning.
  • Source and negotiate pricing with vendors for trade shows and events.
  • Work with sales and account management to align on event strategy and post-event follow-up.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of B2B marketing experience, including event planning and budgeting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Hospitality, or a similar field.
  • Proficiency in evolving campaigns based on performance data and feedback.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Ability to travel 25% for onsite event management and team gatherings.
