About the position

The Field Marketing Specialist at Boochcraft is responsible for enhancing the brand presence of Boochcraft Hard Kombucha and Mood Functional Tonics in the San Diego market. This role involves implementing marketing strategies, conducting product samplings, and engaging with both industry professionals and consumers to drive brand visibility and loyalty. The specialist will act as a brand advocate, develop relationships with key stakeholders, and execute various marketing events to promote the products effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a valued brand resource and advocate for Boochcraft and Mood.
  • Maintain awareness of best practices, trends, and brand standards.
  • Implement brand and trade marketing strategies in the market.
  • Develop and engage in on-premise activations in assigned target accounts.
  • Organize and execute sampling events in local off-premise retail and community engagement events.
  • Deliver engaging brand and category educational presentations for trade and consumers.
  • Ensure POS and promotional collateral is up-to-date and visible in accounts.
  • Gather real-time photo and video content to share with the social media team.
  • Create and maintain relationships with key market stakeholders, including local trade community, influencers, and partners.
  • Provide positive and memorable experiences for consumers.
  • Leverage social media and other tools to promote sales within the community and designated territory.
  • Participate in debriefs with the team to effectively decipher strengths and opportunities for events, POS, and activations.
  • Complete quantitative and qualitative reports as needed, including competitive brand observations.
  • Adhere to T&E and activation budgets.
  • Increase brand awareness by partnering with the sales team to activate assigned accounts.
  • Capture event execution in appropriate reporting tool.
  • Audit 3rd party agency personnel in the field as directed by the manager.

Requirements

  • Preferred College degree and 2 years of Beverage, Brand Sales, Hospitality, Culinary, Bartender/mixology, Supplier/Wholesaler, Agency Ambassador, or Tasting Room experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school Diploma plus 3 years of Beverage, Brand Sales, Hospitality, Culinary, Bartender/mixology, Supplier/Wholesaler, Agency Ambassador, or Tasting Room experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Creative thinker enthusiastic to bring new and different activation ideas to life.
  • Experience with owned social media and networks.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Event and/or activation experience.
  • RBS certification or equivalent certification or in process of obtaining within 6 months of employment.
  • Candidates for this position must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
  • Required to be 21 years of age or older.
