About the position

The Field Medical Affairs Operations Coordinator Intern at Exact Sciences is responsible for providing administrative and logistical support to the Field Medical Affairs organization. This role involves project management, insights collection, meeting coordination, and operational tracking to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's activities. The intern will collaborate with field medical leaders and cross-functional teams to support various initiatives and ensure alignment on deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary administrative support to Field Medical Affairs leadership.
  • Aid in developing and improving operational processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support tracking and reporting of all Field Medical Affairs field activities.
  • Provide congress support, including formatting and finalizing activity and impact reports.
  • Prepare overview of medical affairs activities to relevant internal teams.
  • Prepare and organize materials for meetings, presentations, and conferences.
  • Manage communications on behalf of the Field Medical Leadership.
  • Analyze and disseminate scientific and medical based insights and create reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on deliverables.
  • Support implementation of new team initiatives and develop new resources and processes.
  • Manage timelines and budgets for strategic development and operational execution of programs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between Medical Leadership and other departments.
  • Manage the cadence and preparation for field medical meetings, ensuring materials are sent in advance.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Pharmacy, Medicine (MD/DO or other APP degree), Genetics/Genetic Counseling, project management, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with effective presentation skills.
  • Ability to interface and work effectively within a team and department with changing priorities.
  • Analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional organization and time-management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with data visualization platforms.
  • Familiarity with project management tools.
