About the position

As a Network Engineer at Philips, you will leverage your networking experience and passion for improving lives to contribute to the integration of solutions into customer IT environments, particularly in healthcare settings. Your role will involve acting as a subject matter expert (SME), collaborating with sales and service partners, as well as healthcare institutions, to ensure successful implementation and integration of complex IT solutions that carry critical real-time data. You will be responsible for delivering, deploying, and integrating software solutions, participating as a key member of the implementation project and support teams, and fostering collaboration through sharing knowledge and expertise. In this position, you will also be tasked with educating customers on maintaining their systems, resolving technical issues, and providing proactive technical support. Strong configuration management and version control practices will be essential, as will documenting solutions to facilitate support and ongoing development. You will contribute to the collective learning of Philips by sharing knowledge globally and assessing repeatable processes that can be leveraged across multiple projects. Continuous improvement of implementation methodologies and service offerings based on customer feedback will also be a key focus of your role. To succeed in this position, you should have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT technologies or the electronics industry, preferably in a field or hospital-based service environment. Experience with patient monitoring systems, telemetry units, ventilators, and defibrillators is highly preferred. You should possess network configuration and troubleshooting skills, along with a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification. A bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics, biomedical, or a related field is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional working experience in IT technologies or electronics industry, preferably in a field or hospital-based service environment.
  • Experience with patient monitoring, telemetry units, ventilators, and defibrillators is highly preferred.
  • Network configuration and troubleshooting experience, with a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.
  • Completion of relevant courses such as ENCOR, DCAC9K, IP6FD, ICM, and CSCGW is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics, biomedical, or related disciplines, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
