At Interstate Batteries, we are committed to creating a trusted workplace where team members can be their authentic selves. Our mission is to positively impact the lives of everyone we touch, and we believe that professional success is intertwined with personal well-being. As a Field Operations Advisor, you will play a crucial role in the successful training, management, and transition of newly acquired company-owned distributorships. This position may require you to serve in various capacities during the transition from an independent distributorship to an Interstate Batteries operation team (IOT). Your responsibilities will include continuous support and training for IOT team members and independent distributors as needed. In this role, you will be responsible for auditing dealer consignment for accuracy and age tolerances, coordinating with buy/sell owners to set transfer expectations, and counting and reconciling all inventory locations, including consignment, warehouse, trucks, and storefronts. You will need to understand the Sales & Purchase agreement to properly value acquisition assets and run necessary database queries to clean up data and merge/transfer databases to the new distributor point of sale system. You will also be accountable for the profit and loss (P&L) and budget performance for the operations of newly acquired IOT distributorships, which was previously a primary responsibility. Your role will require you to be knowledgeable in training distributorship personnel in all areas of operations, including warehouse, office, and route management functions. You may need to perform in any role within the operation as directed, identify best practices and processes, and build out training and documentation for use in all operations. Providing ongoing feedback for continuous process improvement and supporting enterprise initiatives from other business units will also be part of your responsibilities.
