We are currently seeking a Field Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic operations team in Palm Desert, CA. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth operations regarding vehicle inspections. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of automotive experience and will be responsible for conducting vehicle assessments and coordinating with dealerships. This position requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can maintain strong communication and collaboration with internal teams and dealerships. In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your experience in vehicle inspections, documentation, and dealership coordination. You will be expected to conduct thorough vehicle assessments, document any damages or concerns, and ensure adherence to OPENLANE standards and guidelines for vehicle inspections. Additionally, you will assist in marketing efforts by distributing promotional materials to buying dealers, thereby contributing to the overall success of our operations team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct vehicle assessments, documenting engine, transmission, interior, and exterior inspections using OPENLANE's mobile application.
  • Coordinate with dealerships and ensure adherence to OPENLANE standards and guidelines for vehicle inspections.
  • Submit accurate and detailed inspection reports through the designated platform.
  • Assist in marketing efforts by distributing flyers and promotional materials to buying dealers.
  • Maintain strong communication and collaboration with internal teams and dealerships.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of automotive experience.
  • Experience in conducting vehicle assessments and inspections.
  • Strong organizational skills to coordinate with various teams and dealerships.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in documentation.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with mobile applications for vehicle inspections.
  • Knowledge of dealership operations and standards.
