About the position

The Field Operations Coordinator/Sr. is responsible for ensuring safety as the top priority in daily operations while coordinating various construction and engineering projects related to gas distribution systems. This role involves providing guidance and support to multiple stakeholders, including engineering teams, local municipalities, and internal customers, while also leading emergency response efforts and system restoration activities.

Responsibilities

• Ensures timely completion of pre-engineering and related engineering design tasks for region management.
• Responsible for the coordination of teams and construction and maintenance projects in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Completes project justifications and contributes towards the justification of gas distribution system projects and other construction related activities.
• Completes or ensures completion of construction authorizations, project designing and estimating, system workflows, locates, and required documentation relating to construction and maintenance of projects and equipment.
• Responsible for the completion of purchase orders and requisitions as needed.
• Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Must possess a working knowledge of gas utility operations at a level normally acquired through a two-year degree with strong technical emphasis.
• Two years related work experience; or acceptable combination of related work experience and education for Field Operations Coordinator.
• Four years related work experience, with at least one year as a Field Operations Coordinator for Field Operations Coordinator Sr.
• Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
• Required to maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
• Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
