About the position

The Field Operations Coordinator at Cupertino Electric, Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting the Site Superintendent and Field Team on various projects. This position involves executing high-level administrative tasks such as managing union workforce onboarding, payroll, resource tracking, and dispatch coordination. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment, demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and adaptability to new software systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage union workforce onboarding, ensuring compliance with I-9 requirements and coordinating site orientation for new hires.
• Enter and submit weekly timecards for all field staff, proofreading entries to prevent payroll errors and providing payroll reports.
• Track attendance and workforce resources on-site using Procore Workforce Management, conducting daily roll calls and managing dispatching and personnel updates.
• Consolidate and submit daily reports to stakeholders, manage IT requests, and provide basic IT support for field staff.
• Order supplies, coordinate catering for events, maintain safety training records, and perform basic office housekeeping.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; any college degree preferred.
• Three (3) years of experience in a similar role, preferably with construction experience.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with field and office personnel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Familiarity with payroll management and timecard submission.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
