Responsibilities

  • Oversee warranty repairs, new field equipment installations, and piping projects.
  • Schedule and staff projects, coordinating with project managers on scheduling and scope requirements.
  • Approve and submit worked hours for payroll and submit invoices to accounting for fieldwork, distinguishing between billable and warranty items.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of departmental operating procedures and specific job task procedures.
  • Ensure quality and continuous improvement within the scope of the job.
  • Collaborate with project managers and service technicians to schedule and address any warranty issues.
  • Assist in start-up planning activities, ensuring effective coordination among all relevant staff members.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years in field service installation-related roles.
  • Strong background in managing field service operations and customer service.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with ASME code and welding processes (FCAW, GMAW, GTAW).
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Willingness to attend assigned training courses.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude.
