About the position

The Field Operations Coordinator is essential for the efficient functioning of the facility maintenance department. This role involves administrative support for the field tech team and acts as a liaison among maintenance staff, management, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day maintenance administrative tasks
  • Manage refrigerant logs tracking process
  • Provide P-card support
  • Monitor weather conditions and report impacting events to FM groups
  • Track tech training
  • Assist in managing fleet vehicles, tracking inventory and repairs
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors when necessary
  • Assist in inventory management of maintenance supplies and equipment
  • Generate reports on maintenance activities, costs, and performance metrics
  • Support the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Assist in training new maintenance staff on procedures and systems
  • Collaborate with other departments to minimize disruptions during maintenance activities

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in maintenance coordination or similar role
  • Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • Basic understanding of building systems and maintenance practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, continually changing business environment

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management or related field
  • Certification in Facilities Management
  • Experience with energy management and sustainability practices
  • Knowledge of budgeting and cost control in maintenance operations
