About the position

The Field Operations Manager at AbbVie plays a crucial role in facilitating collaboration within the Franchise V organization in Oncology. This position is responsible for managing compensation and field planning needs, ensuring effective communication with sales colleagues, and contributing innovative ideas to enhance operational efficiency. The role involves acting as a liaison between various teams, influencing cross-functional strategies, and driving field force effectiveness through optimized sales force structure and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality and timeliness of key deliverables and participate in workstreams as the key point of contact.
  • Effectively prioritize across competing projects and maintain constant communication with customers while demonstrating strong project management abilities.
  • Proactively identify areas of opportunity to enhance or improve existing processes and outputs.
  • Manage vendor partnerships, including timelines, budgets, and communications for specific projects and initiatives.
  • Serve as a liaison between Franchise V teams, FPAT CoE Teams, Training, and Franchise teams to partner in the design, deployment, training, maintenance, and communications of incentive compensation and field planning needs.
  • Provide reporting and analytics on incentive compensation and field planning to business Director and Associate Director level stakeholders.

Requirements

  • BA or BS degree required to ensure effective understanding and application of business concepts.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, marketing, sales operations, or information technology.
  • 3 plus years of analytical and/or commercial operations experience required, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to a broad client base, including senior leadership and sales leadership.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix environment and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, compliance regulations, and standards.
  • Preferred experience in either incentive compensation or field planning.
