The Field Operations Manager position is a direct hire opportunity within a growing company in the energy sector, located in the Houston, TX area. This role involves overseeing the design and safe installation of technology on client sites, collaborating with teams across Texas and Europe, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer-specific designs
• Create project documentation for monitoring and control systems
• Support the sales process and ensure customer satisfaction
• Manage contractors for safe installation and commissioning
• Maintain technology on client sites
• Implement and monitor operational systems to enhance business performance
• Drive the implementation of ISO45001 OHS standards
• Contribute to product development through electrical design input
• Continuously improve operational processes and identify business opportunities

Requirements

• Strong understanding of three-phase electrical systems, medium and low voltage switchgear
• Knowledge of electrical metering, control, and protection systems
• Experience managing contractors for electrical site work and delivering projects
• Solid grasp of US electrical standards, including NEC and local code requirements
• Skilled at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Project management experience and physical site work experience
• Detail-oriented and process-driven, able to manage projects from start to finish
