About the position

The Field Operations Manager at Uniti is a pivotal role responsible for coordinating various operational aspects including OSP, ISP, splicing, installation, and turn-up processes. This position ensures the successful implementation of multiple projects while maintaining quality standards and effective communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Site Acquisition Coordinators and Field Technician teams.
• Coordinate with OSP and Operations to fulfill new service requests and maintain network integrity.
• Guide and direct splicing operations to meet critical deadlines.
• Ensure quality implementation and customer communication by collaborating with Service Delivery Teams and Account Managers.
• Oversee contract labor management, ensuring adherence to scope of work and quality standards.
• Proactively plan for, secure, and deploy contractor resources to meet business demands.
• Provide technical support and direction to staff and contractors regarding network elements and operational standards.
• Manage purchasing, budgeting, and business plan development.
• Ensure quality control checks and resolve escalated customer problems as necessary.
• Maintain and monitor Salesforce data related to ISP, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Assist with the facilitation of Statement of Work (SOW) for high volume/complex projects.
• Develop an effective frontline Leadership team and assist them in developing their direct reports to drive a high-performance culture.
• Support efforts to simplify and enhance the overall customer experience.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of prior applicable experience.
• Working knowledge of fiber plant design, construction, and implementation.
• Familiarity with QA/QC practices for fiber deployment.
• Ability to manage others.
