About the position

The Field Operations Manager at AbbVie plays a crucial role in facilitating collaboration within the Franchise V organization in Oncology. This position is responsible for managing compensation and field planning needs, ensuring effective communication with sales colleagues, and contributing innovative ideas. The manager will act as a liaison between various teams, influencing cross-functional collaboration to align on franchise strategy and optimize field force effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality and timeliness of key deliverables and participate in workstreams as the key point of contact.
  • Effectively prioritize across competing projects, maintaining constant communication with customers and demonstrating strong project management abilities.
  • Proactively identify areas of opportunity to enhance/improve existing processes and outputs.
  • Effectively manage vendor partnerships, including timelines, budget, and communications for specific projects and initiatives.
  • Serve as a liaison between Franchise V teams, FPAT CoE Teams, Training, and Franchise teams for incentive compensation and field planning needs.
  • Provide reporting and analytics on IC and Field Planning to business Director and Associate Director level stakeholders.

Requirements

  • BA, BS degree required to ensure effective understanding and application of business concepts.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, marketing or sales operations, or information technology.
  • 3 plus years analytical and/or Commercial operations experience required, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to a broad client base, including senior leadership.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, compliance regulations, and standards.
  • Preferred experience in either incentive compensation or field planning.
