Field Reimbursement Manager, US Market Access, Neurology- - Gulf Shores

About the position

The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) is responsible for managing accounts in the Neurology sector within a specified region. This role focuses on providing access and reimbursement education to healthcare provider (HCP) office personnel, addressing medical policies, prior authorization requirements, coding and billing, and product access options. The FRM aims to minimize barriers to therapy and supports HCPs with case-specific guidance in response to prior authorization denials and reimbursement issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts in a specified region focusing on Neurology.
• Provide access and reimbursement education to HCP office personnel.
• Educate on medical policies, prior authorization requirements, coding, and billing.
• Support HCPs with case-specific guidance in response to PA denials and reimbursement issues.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on account and territory strategy.
• Act as a subject matter expert on reimbursement and access landscape.
• Create strategic account plans to increase customer knowledge.
• Collaborate with Alexion OneSource Patient Services for case management needs.
• Leverage internal data to develop and execute account plans.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5-7 years' experience in healthcare and/or pharmaceutical/biotech industry
• 3 years' experience with buy and bill and/or specialty pharmacy networks
• Understanding of access process from Rx to infusion/injection
• Experience with products requiring prior authorization
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to educate healthcare professionals confidently
• Strong rapport building and active listening skills
• Problem solver with a sense of urgency
• Technical proficiency in using iPad and Microsoft Office Suite.
