About the position

Hemmersbach is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Field Technician to join our team. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our clients, both consumers and enterprises, in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have experience working with HP servers, data centers, printers, and PCs. You will deliver exceptional Break/Fix support to all customers in your area, ensuring that they receive the highest level of service and satisfaction. This role requires a willingness to drive 50-200 miles per day to provide on-site support as needed. In this position, you will be tasked with providing excellent customer service by communicating clearly and professionally with clients. This includes responding promptly to client requests for technical support, either on-site or remotely, depending on the client's needs and the project's scope. You will perform equipment installations, upgrades, and repairs for clients' printers, PCs/Data Centers, servers, and other IT equipment. Additionally, you will provide technical support for HP servers and data center equipment, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues. Your goal will be to diagnose and resolve server and data center-related issues, ensuring client satisfaction by delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent customer service by communicating clearly and professionally with clients, ensuring they are satisfied with the support provided.
  • Responding promptly to client requests for technical support, either on-site or remotely, depending on the client's needs and the project's scope.
  • Performing equipment installations, upgrades, and repairs for clients' printers, PCs/Data Centers, servers, and other IT equipment.
  • Providing technical support for HP servers and data center equipment, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Diagnosing and resolving server and data center-related issues, ensuring client satisfaction by delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Providing day-to-day support at customer locations within geographical regions.
  • Supporting customers in technical problems they have with their technical equipment.

Requirements

  • 18 months of IT experience (or equivalent)
  • Technical certifications such as A+ or Network+ are preferred
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Willingness to drive 50-200 miles per day.
