About the position

The Architectural Field Representative serves as the primary liaison between Renlita Doors and industry professionals such as architects, contractors, and builders. This role focuses on promoting Renlita's products through presentations and technical expertise, ensuring that the products are specified in various projects. The position requires significant travel and involves conducting educational sessions to enhance product knowledge among clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop robust knowledge of all Renlita product lines/services
  • Schedule all Lunch & Learns in coordination with territory campaigns
  • Present informative presentations per AIA guidelines
  • Build and maintain relationships with architects, designers, contractors, and builders
  • Conduct presentations, lunch-and-learns, and product demonstrations
  • Set up and break down presentation areas
  • Schedule and coordinate meals for each presentation
  • Work with Renlita on field marketing campaigns
  • Submit all AIA credits to Ron Blank & Associates
  • Prepare appropriate materials for presentations
  • Address questions regarding the use of doors in designs
  • Track expenses and submit via Concur app
  • Report weekly on Lunch & Learn activities
  • Document and share lead/customer intelligence
  • Attend trade shows to assist with staging and interact with attendees
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field preferred
  • 1 year of architectural sales experience
  • 1 year of experience in presentations in a group setting
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Apple Pages, Apple Numbers, and Mac computers
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
